Previously registered with Job Centre Australia Hayley was after a career change. Hayley returned to our service as she had been so happy with the staff and support she previously received. Initially Hayley was reserved and quiet. But, after participating in our specialised workshops, Hayley grew in self-confidence, self-esteem and overall motivation and became more confident in her choices for the future.

Wanting a career change, Hayley decided to complete a Certificate III in Individual Support specialising in Disabilities. At the completion of her TAFE course, Job Centre Australia Wyong staff assisted Hayley in securing casual employment using her qualifications, assisting people with disabilities in a group home.

In February, Hayley was placed into employment with a supportive employer as a casual Support Worker. Hayley had no work experience of this type and was very anxious but with regular Post Placement Support from her Job Centre Australia Trainer, she was able to maintain her employment. Now being offered a part time role, Hayley is excelling in her workplace and enjoying her work and the challenges each day brings. Well done Hayley!
