IDPwD – Recognition at the Highest Level

We’re incredibly proud to have our work and the achievements of Job Centre Australia candidate, Daniel Crowley, being recognised at the highest levels today – Thank you Prime Minister Scott Morrison for meeting with and celebrating Daniel’s employment achievements today, on International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPWD)

Daniel is celebrating two years with Australia’s Parliament House (APH), and a permanent appointment in the Concierge Team, a role he’s earned under the guidance and ongoing support of Job Centre Australia.

The services available to Daniel were only made possible through the successful use of both National Disability Insurance Agency Scheme and DES funding and are a perfect example of what is possible when two funding bodies, brought together by JCAL, can provide for a young individual with a disability, the community in which he lives and contributes, and the Australian economy.

May we also take this opportunity to recognise Daniel’s two-up manager, Director of Visitor Engagement, Cris Kennedy, for his wonderfully inclusive leadership and the remarkable role he has played over recent years in Daniel’s work life.

We look forward to sharing more on Daniel’s story shortly!
