Position Purpose:

The Team leader supervises the operational activities of a team/site, allocating and monitoring work activities, setting clear standards and ensuring effective employee support and a positive team work environment.  They oversee and support the achievement of both individual and team KPIs and ensure that all contractual and compliance obligations and standard are met.

The Team leader supports the Operations Manager through provision of relevant data and reporting. They will also manage the site pending list and complete initial appointments and commencements for all candidate referrals within a timely manner AND/OR manage an active Employee Assist caseload and progress clients towards employment. This is a critical role in ensuring JCAL candidates enjoy a supportive and individually tailored program of supports for the preparation or placement in employment and in nurturing the potential for career options for the candidates over time.

You will need

Well developed supervisory/leadership experience and skills

Well honed recruitment skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with candidates, employers and other key stakeholders

A collaborative, team player approach

A demonstrated commitment to working with injury, disability or health condition

Resilience and a positive outlook and a commitment to personal development and career progress

Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and effective negotiation/consultation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
