Job Centre Australia are thrilled to announce two new brand ambassadors, Ben Tudhope and Simon Patmore! Both Ben and Simon are members of the Australian Paralympic team and will be representing Australia at the 2018 Winter Paralympics!
Ben is an 18 year old Northern Beaches local and professional snowboarder and will be signing on as an ambassador for our Choice and Control program. Ben is Australia’s youngest ever Winter Paralympian and was the youngest of all athletes competing at the Sochi games in 2014. Ben’s happy and friendly personality paired with his determination and success are sure to inspire all that are around him. You can catch Ben when he competes, on the 12th and 16th March.
Simon is a 30 year old South Brisbane local and professional snowboarder. Simon works for QLD health and is a great advocate for diversity making him a perfect ambassador for our Disability Employment Services. Simon states that diversity in the workplace “boosts team morale, gives people a better understanding of people’s abilities and creates general interest with people asking about my disability, my goals and Olympic pursuits”. Simon is living proof that you should chase your goals and dreams, no matter your ability or disability. You can catch Simon in the upper limb division on the 12th and 16th March.
We are very excited to have both Ben and Simon on board and look forward to both cheering them along in PyeongChang and working with them upon on their return!
